Tring Reservoirs Membership
Tring Reservoirs is a group of four reservoirs close to Tring on the border of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, England. Their purpose is to feed the Grand Union Canal. The four reservoirs are: Startops End, Marsworth, Wilstone and Tringford.
However, Tringford reservoir is a separate trout fishery and is not included in the membership. See http://flyandlure.org/listings/places_to_fly_fish/england/hertfordshire/tringford_trout_fishery
The waters are renowned for specimen-sized fish, producing no less than 5 British records. Specimens caught include wels catfish to 60lb, carp to 50lb with many present in the 30lb and 40lb weights, bream and tench well into double figures, perch to 6lb and good numbers of quality roach.
