Work parties are an essential part of Club activity in order to keep our waters in the best condition we can and to make your fishing as enjoyable as possible.
We rely totally on volunteers and the more we have, the less there is for each of us to do. By volunteering there is no compulsion to attend each work party but as they are usually very enjoyable events with lighthearted banter, the same faces tend to turn up frequently.
The club supplies tools such as strimmers, pruning saws etc. and some PPE but any you can bring along are welcomed.
We don’t at present organise work parties on fixed days but tend to have them as and when work is required. We vary them between weekdays and weekends to try and suit all members availability.
We advise upcoming work party dates on Facebook, email or on the website and tend to give approx. 10 days notice.
