Earlier this year The Angling Trust and the Environment Agency attended Shabbington to restock the river with 7200 fish (3000 roach. 3000 chub, 600 bream and 600 barbel) which came from the EA’s fish farm at Calverton. The event was filmed by The Angling Trust to highlight how the two bodies work closely together. Our venue was chosen for this as we work closely with them on Let’s Fish events and water maintenance.
