A couple of weeks ago, the EA introduced more good quality fish to the River Thame which were paid for by Thames Water as part of the compensation for polluting the river. A total of 6000 chub, 8000 roach and 1200 barbel were introduced. Of these, Shabbington received into the main river, 1500 chub, more than 2000 roach and just a handful of barbel.
